Women’s Rites of Passage
2025
This sacred journey is a rites of passage for women who are entering perimenopause, fully in perimenopause, or who have fully crossed into menopause.
As this transition comes with so many physical and emotional shifts that can be hard to navigate, the importance of having a community around us during this time is vital! We, as women, can support one another.
Our modern culture pushes us to feel that maidenhood is the only desirable part of the journey, and that when we finally enter into cronehood, we should mourn our losses. However, this transition is so sacred and so beautiful. It marks the emergence of the Wise Woman within us. This is the time to celebrate the beauty of aging, the spiritual awakening that can occur as we complete our fertile years, and a time to embrace the sacred transitions of womanhood.
We will begin our rites at the Autumn Equinox, a time of balance, marking our entrance into this transition. We will gather as a community to share our experiences. And over the course of the next few weeks, we will spend time in personal reflection and practice.
We will gather one more time on Samhain, or All Souls’ Day, a time of ancestral connection, and where it is said the veil between the world of spirit and the human world is thinned. This day-long gathering will conclude in a sacred ceremony in which we will mark our passage and honor each other in this journey so that we can fully embody the wisdom of this passage.
This gathering is for women who are in the process of transitioning into perimenopause, are fully in perimenopause, or have passed through menopause. It is a space of deep respect, support, and recognition for those who are walking this path of change.
